Hi all.

Here are some basic rules just so we are clear on what is expected.. SR4L has always been a race friendly group but in the unlikely event that a Race Director has to adjudicate we need some basic guide lines.

Basic League Rules.

Non nonnegotiable's

To keep an even playing field and also to keep in line with the kind of racing we are trying to achieve here please abide the following rules
.

It is not allowed to use software that assists driving ie; starts, grip, power etc, plugins, or macros that automatically engage the clutch or gears when the start lights turn to go. The reaction to the start lights needs to be 100% down to the driver without the aid of software emulator(s). The use of any such assists will result in disqualification.

It's not allowed to overtake drivers off the track. Driving down the side of the road overtaking slower cars in front of you is not permitted. The exception to this rule is if you need to avoid a crashed car. Places need to be given back if you think you have overtaken someone off the track.

On the start grid while waiting for the lights, it is not allowed to shuffle half a meter forward. The game lets you do this without penalty, but here at SR4L, we do not allow this. If you have moved forward by mistake, and if there is still time, press Esc and rejoin the grid. That should put you back on the correct place.

Things to be mindful on race day.

1. Drivers cannot replace a lost wheel/wheels after accidents. Please exit the race.

2. A badly damaged car that is unstable to drive must exit the track. Drivers pitting with slightly damaged cars should be very careful returning to the pits. This is the drivers discretion to make a safe call.

3. Re-entering the track safely after an incident or exiting the pits must be done with caution. Track maps, mirrors and pit exit lights are a big help in this case.

4. Chat during qualifying or a race. A big no, no. Please wait for the race to end.

5. Practice starts during the countdown period to a race not allowed.

6. Races will only ever be restarted by officials i.e., server down or similar mass incidents that effect the grid.

7. If a driver misses the start for whatever reason unfortunately it is simply bad luck and not a reason for restart.

5. In and endeavour to keep racing fun, defensive driving by weaving when defending under attack into a corner is not permitted. Try to make one move left or right only. One of the hardest things in online racing is knowing exactly what is around you under pressure.

8. Abuse in any form will result in suspension from all future League events.

Penalties may apply upon review.

If you have something to add or an opinion Don't hesitate to PM me.

Cheers,
Bryan
