Very happy with the race today despite the two spins, best finish in a sr4l league race.

Qualifying was a nightmare, my car with low fuel is pretty unstable, so when I came around to do some practice laps on high fuel in warmup, I accidently beat my quali time by some way.

I span on the opening few laps and fell down 3 places but I soon realised my race pace was rapid (for me haha) and made my way to 8th? maybe 7th. Made up some time on the pit stop and came out right behind the guy in front. Sadly, I span out a few laps later and suffered damage which didn't seem to effect me much. What proceeded was the greatest charge in motorsport history. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but for my usual race pace this was unheard of. Had a cracking battle with Rick in the last few laps and just managed to out brake him into Mirabeau and get past with a couple of laps to spare.

Great race guys I thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Awesome overtake Stuart. I never saw it coming. You managed to get it turned taking the outside line and had the inside heading to Station. With only 2 to go in these fragile open wheelers there was no way I was going to get chippy and try to pressure you into the hairpin. And then you quickly put some distance between us.

Satisfying race for me. Started P8 finished P6 (almost P5! :( ). Wasn't fast (I never am!) but of course the challenge here is to keep it in one piece, which I did.

Very solid day for me. P4 for in qualifying, as the difference in horsepower isn't as much of a factor here. J-P was having none of that though and pushed me aside at the start. No damage, so it's all good and I settled into P5. For parts of the stint I was keeping pace with him and sometimes gaining, but on average he'd pull away -- especially once Cookie went for a swim so I didn't have as much pressure from behind and thus took it a little more carefully. Looks like DJC had a moment at the chicane as suddenly he was in front of me. After the pitstop though he was well and truly checked out. I guess one of the cars ahead went out as I was P4 after the stop and stayed there with nobody around me once I had pulled a gap on Rick.

I was too eager to get onto a clear track so got myself a stop and go , this messed up my laps , eventually got a couple of runs in clean air but I was not good enough to beat DJ or Dan , Damn!pressure was on to get a good start .

Race

If I was going to do anything with this race I knew I had to do it quick before folks got heat into their tyres , my car was good on cold tyres so I had to make this pay .

The start was pretty much even for all but on the change to second I pulled up on Dan and tried to go under him and make him push DJ wide , I was so focused on him and DJ I forgot that Keeper is also a fast starter and I unfairly squeezed him when I moved over , we had light contact but fortunately no damage was done , Sorry Ron thats not my normal driving style
Managed to gain 2nd place behind Dan and got up close and personal through Casino , this allowed me a good run down to Mirabeau where I got alongside and outbraked Dan to snatch first place , I then pushed like mad to get a gap so Dans power advantage wouldnt come into play on the faster parts of the circuit , I managed to hold the lead as Dan and Dj battled for position and as the heat came into the tyres I was away , after that apart from a half spin at Massenet it was uneventfull , the biggest challenge was trying to keep my concentration levels up and not daydream .

On my side I'm really struggling with the car this season, but in this race it was incredible. The main problem was mainly the lack of grip at the front, I was not able to be as aggressive as the first ones and In the slow corners I was really slow and I had difficulty reaching the apex. . I decided to be wise and bring the car back to the finish.

At the start I took advantage of the Coyne-O'Dell incident to place myself 4th but I knew that I was not fast enough to catch up with the guys in front.

Dan got out of the race and DJ missed the chicane, so I picked up second and my pace was good enough to keep DJ within seconds. The stop went well, I was still second, but there was an accident in front of me and a car ended up across the track. I managed to slip between the car and the rail, but I damaged the front of my car and had to finish the race with a capricious car.

The last laps with DJ stuck behind was very difficult with the damage but I managed to finish 2nd, I was very happy!

Congratulations to the survivors!

It was a great one for me, I had a lot of practice for this round.

The race started with a drive-throu for jumped start, the poor audio of rF2 made me confuse the starting sound and anticipate it. I observed the penality at first passage and my race started there.
After two laps I managed to reach some incidented drivers and to gain some good positions. I had an other friendship manifestation with Mr Keene at Mirabeu, but at the hairpin I managed to pass him with no big damages and from there I had a clean race till the end without mistakes.
It was a great P8 wich is very good for me, al Monaco, the real victory here is to just finish.

Great night guys, thank you all! :)
