Please find below helpful information on how to pit at Spa Belgium 1966.

You will need to have assigned a 'Request Pit' button and press it in good time before pitting.
There no clear boundary between track and pits, so this requires a request in order to take a pitstop.
Your Red pit box will NOT show if you do not do this. It's also too late to press request if you have already passed the pit entrance.
INSTRUCTIONS WHEN ENTERING PIT AT SPA.jpg
The pitcrew will not service your car if you do not use the pit entrance shown above

INSTRUCTIONS WHEN EXITING PIT AT SPA.jpg
Keep to the pitlane speed limit until you get to the end of the brick wall, not the end of the yellow line.

WHEN RACING
On a normal lap when NOT pitting, don't cut the entrance of pit lane.

You can cut inside the yellow line using the full width of the track only AFTER the pit entrance.
Please do not do this if there are cars in the pitlane for their safety. Hitting one will see you disqualified.

How to serve a penalty at Spa Belgium 66?
Same way as other tracks, but just like above you have to press the 'Pit Request' button first.
* Drive-Through, Press pit request button and drive down the pit lane without speeding.
* Stop/Go, Press the pit request button, drive down the pitlane then stop at your pit box for 10seconds.
Make sure you know what type of penalty you have because if you pit when you should have been doing a drive through the pit crew will service your car with fuel and tyres again and you would still need to serve your penalty.

What if you have a Stop/Go penalty but want to do fuel and tyre stop first?
The game defaults to serving a penalty first. If you want to tell the pitcrew to service car instead, for example you are running out of fuel then press the pit request button to bring up the below menu.

Use cursor keys up and down to move box to STOP/GO then use cursor keys left or right to change this setting from Yes to No.
You need to do this before entering the pitlane, tricky to do when driving.
Of course you will still need to re-pit again to serve Stop/Go afterwards.

Further notes to be aware of:
There is a track bug on the last corner (la source). If you over shoot the corner and go very wide, the game can sometimes give you a cut warning or a drive through. Be careful not to overshoot this corner. This is fixed in the community made League-Friendly version of the track.

Recommendations:
When running the track at Max track detail settings there are white posts along the side of the track that are easy to crash into.
By lowing track detail makes them disappear. We recommend that you do this.
It is recommended to practice pit stops before the event.

Hopefully that covers everything you need to know about Spa Belgium to avoid getting penalties.

There is now a fixed community made League-Friendly version of this track that addresses some of the issues above. Recommend that version to be used.

Thanks for the reminder.

I can vouch for the "DO NOT TOUCH THIS LINE". I just barely shaved it with the outside of my wheel last season and my pit box was gone.
