Enjoying Online Racing

Sim Racers 4 Life was developed for many reasons. Some of the main reasons were to build an environment where members could come together, chat in forums, share opinions, practice and race in a competitive and fair environment. Most of all SR4L is a place to meet new and interesting people from around the World sharing our common interest.

As a member of SR4L you are expected to respect others and use common sense in our Servers and Forums. Failing to do so will result in your removal from the SR4L Forums and League sites.

SR4L Code of Conduct

Section 1 Forums and Servers
a.
Be mindful that people are different and have different opinions in our Forums and Servers.
b.No member of SR4L will Cheat or support Cheating.
c.Public arguing in SR4L servers is unacceptable.
d.Swearing is not accepted.
e.Racist comments will result in the player being banned.

Section 2 On Track
a.
No chatting during Qualifying or Racing in League Events
b.
Deliberately causing accidents will result in removal from the game, suspension from the client or even banning altogther from SR4L.
c.Badly damaged cars that could cause problems should exit off the track as soon as possible.
d.Races will not be restarted unless for technical reasons. It is up to each and every driver to drive as safe as possible.

Promotion
The best form of promotion is in behaviour. When in other servers show the same respect you would in SR4L.

How to File a Report

Racing can get heated from time to time, it's the nature of competition. Here are some simple steps you'll need to follow.
Don't argue in servers about incidents publically.
Send the Race Director/Admin an email/PM stating your problem attached with a replay file. Note the time on the replay that the incident took place and the other driver/drivers involved.

Admin will take the necessary action.

All administrative decisions are final.

My Final Thoughts
Most call it a hobby, I see it more as a sport. You'll need to work hard to get to results and it can seem unforgiving at times. The pure joy you'll get from racing whether it's fighting for a podium finish or a neck and neck battle with a rival friend for a place out of the points will keep you coming back for more.

Enjoy SR4L and this great community.

Kind Regards,
Bryan Ferguson
Race Director
