You may remember way back when there was a game that never happened called Racing Legends, in which the West brothers promised a unique historic racing game with a "true ownership" model.

Well, they're back with the same concept but in a "cute" art style, though promising high-quality physics in "Ages of Speed".

The "true ownership" model is the major intriguing point of the concept. When you buy a car, it "exists" as a "physical" object. If you crash it, you'll have to spend time and resources repairing it -- no simple case of ESC back to the pits and go out again. The car parts will wear over time, tyres will wear out and have to be purchased, etc.

Whether this will come to fruition or disappear into the ether like Racing Legends did, we'll have to wait and see.
