Help! What’s this?

Since today, I get this screen flash up in between pressing play in Steam and the first rf2 loading screen appearing. No other steam games seem to do it. Rf2 runs fine once loaded. GPU benchmark runs fine too.

I seem to remember seeing something similar years ago and it was reputedly hardware related (not enough power for GPU?)

It seems to be emerging as an OpenXR/OpenComposite thing - basically the layers that must be used for my VR headset and the optional one that means I can cut out a chunk of SteamVR.

It’s just unclear why it’s recently started as nothing (other than rf2) has auto updates….
